Ethica Solutions Appoints Director to Lead On Safeguarding Training

Dr. Richard John has been appointed Director of Training by Guildford-based Safeguarding and Investigation company, Ethica Solutions.  Richard brings a wealth of experience to the business.  He is a former Senior Police Officer with both operational and strategic experience in a variety of Police roles that include Public Protection (safeguarding children and vulnerable adults), serious & organised crime, Intelligence, performance management, Local Policing Command and organisational change. He has international working experience in the US, Turkey and India.

Richard also brings extensive executive partnership experience in both the public sector and private sector and has led many high profile safeguarding and criminal cases. He is a qualified teacher with experience of university lecturing. His doctorate study was ‘Safeguarding Children in Schools’. He is the Independent Chair of the Portsmouth Safeguarding Children Board, lectures at Solent Southampton University and supports a variety of volunteering roles concerned with safeguarding young people and adults.
